We are a merry band of walkers who meet on the first Monday of the month from March to October and walk to enjoy the sites and sounds of nature and our local landscape or places of interest.
Our walks are around 4 to 5 miles and normally last about 2 hours at a reasonable pace, sometimes crossing fields and stiles, meeting and finishing somewhere with the opportunity for a drink or lunch
Most walks are within a 12 mile radius of South Woodham Ferrers but occasionally further afield and we do encourage car sharing and sometimes lifts are available.
